Biblioteca Municipal Miguel de Cervantes

  The Miguel de Cervantes Municipal Library was inaugurated on March 14, 2003. It is situated in the town center and is part of Parque del Sol which is one of the city´s lungs, and nearby a leisure area. It has an area of more than 1,300 square meters and 180 reading posts, distributed over two levels perfectly adapted to the new technologies, having its access from the mentioned park.

The ground floor has been conceived as a space with more space for the public where can be find the following services: concierge and lockers, the lending service of books and audiovisual material, reference, a newspaper library (daily newspapers and magazines), a children’s area and a section for Andalusia and Fuengirola.

The first floor is used as study room equipped with 14 computers for internet access , and used also for the consultation of subjects such as art, language, literature, geography, history and also books in other languages.

Throughout the library there is access to the wifi network, with 3 electricity grid connection points on the ground floor.
